I'm thinking he didn't. i doubt his report will mention a headbutt and will say a yellow for the tackle.

If it was Redmond with his head like that, it would easily have been a straight red.
What would you have done, Tom?

If Redmond had butted Sissoko, he would have hit his belly. Moussa's a big lad.

Sissoko should have gone no doubt about it. Friend is a **** referee. Although he did get the Walker-Peters yellow right. No way that was denying a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Redmond started it, though with a push in the back. Technically yes, that should have been red on Sissoko but I honestly didn’t have a problem with yellows to both players.

The takedown on Armstrong should have been red, though.

    Yellow card for time wasting.

I was surprised because I think the refs were "reminded" to give double cards where they were deserved after the Ashley Barnes nonsense (and the original foul was a nasty achilles rake). But our midfield is just really dirty, that's why we get loads of fouls against us.

No it shouldn't. Armstrong wasn't in possession of the ball and there were other defenders nearby. Enough doubt there to justify a yellow card.

Walker Peters should have been booked the first half, if Friend was consistent.

On to the game. Superb 2nd half.

It was probably better for us that Walker-Peters stayed on anyway.
