I think we've improved (I'm sure most would agree). Have no doubt that we'd be up the table if we'd had Ralph all season...and I still think the improvements he has produced will be enough. However we need a couple of new players (at a minimum) so it will be a close run thing and may come down to crucial events....which team gets the breaks.
Fancy a draw today. Spent much of last night with the new girlfriend in A&E as she dislocated her kneecap. Happy to trade in the boyfriend brownie points for a point (or three) today.
If we do manage to take the lead at some point, or even win (!!!) would something like this be appropriate? # Don't cry for me, Pochettino The truth is, you never left us All through our wild days, our mad existence We kept our promise Don't keep your distance #
But should he only be allowed to attend if he has a cough....perhaps he'll need to be left out overnight before each home game.
On another note I think 12 quid for a four year old in the cheapest part of the ground is ****ing disgusting personally but that's a discussion for another day
We really need to exploit the space behind Rose and Aurrier today. Like a nice Redmond/Bertrand overlap. Their fullbacks aren't at all defensively minded.
Also Yoshida needs to come out faster to fill the space just in front on the other centre backs, where no doubt Son or Ali will be lurking. Oh and Bednarek to man mark Kane please, not Ward-Prowse at defensive corners :s!
I think that mentally we've downgraded this game to a "might win" by resting Ings. Eternal optimist that I am, I suspect that this means we may be more relaxed and gain a draw or maybe shave a win. Vin
£12 isnt what id call disgusting, its probably average. Although i think it would be smart to let under 12s go free with a parent. Would certainly grow the fanbase over time and hopefully we'd see a few less manu/city shirts around town!
Friend of mine did his when we were at school. On the day he was back, clever clogs here deadlegged him, missed and knocked it out again. He wasn't happy. Vin
