According to the club's official website we are playing Liverpool on the 18th and Stoke on the 20th in the Carling Cup?

Surely that game should be on Wednesday 21st and the OS have made an error??

This is nearly as bad as the time on LMA Manager I had to play two games in two days!

    3 in 6 days.

We play PAOK on the Thursday before the Liverpool game and Wigan on the Saturday after the Cup game, hectic schedule, the CC should be on a Wed though.

3 out of the 4 are away games <yikes>

Hopefully some of our injured players will make a return soon, but we've got a big squad, so it's time that Redknapp showed he knows what to do with it.
We should be able to rest virtually our entire first XI and still put a good side out, if we've got everyone fit.

What're the chances that, even with a heavy fixture schedule, GDS still doesn't get a game?

    Reserves for PAOK - Thursday
1st team for Liverpool - Sunday
    Reserves for Stoke - Tuesday
1st team for Wigan - Saturday

    Suppose that would work.

He should be starting against PAOK.
We should've bloody played him already.

Assuming that our side against Wolves will be Friedel; Corluka, Dawson, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale; Kranjcar; Adebayor, then we'd still have:
Gomes; Walker, Kaboul, Bassong, Rose; Townsend, Huddlestone, Livermore, Dos Santos; Pavlyuchenko, Defoe for PAOK.
Only Kaboul would play twice and that's assuming that King's not fit.

Not an ideal side, but not bad, by any means.

I can see Dawson playing against Wolves, PAOK and Liverpool, before being rested against Stoke, to be honest - as well as sub appearances for Huddlestone and Defoe against PAOK, and I wouldn't be surprised if Defoe started against Stoke.

It'll all be a lot better if King is up and running, and Gallas too, which by the sounds of it isn't an impossibility.

Then the Pool and Wigan games I'd play King/Dawson and the Stoke/Wigan Gallas and Bassong... probably

PNP and KingHotspur, King/Gallas have actually played together twice. The 1st was against Wolves 18/9/2010 (3-1) to Spurs and against Fulham 16/10/2010(1-2)also a Spurs win.But King went off at half-time,so they have a 100% record when playing together.
