That’s what the defender should have thought about before doing it. His arm blocked the shot. It wasn’t a case of the ball hitting him from short distance where he was just standing still. Clear pelanty for me. I wouldn’t expect us to get it against the Money Grabbing Six but against any other team, yes.
I don't agree there's a difference between trying to handball and the ball hitting your hand because it happens to be there.
That was never a handball, he had an epileptic fit and fell on the ball. If VAR had been around then he would not have been sent off and no penalty given. To this day the injustice of that decision gets me vexed.
