Looks like we're trying Maghoma as a makeshift striker this time... Meanwhile, on the Lunatic Fringe, a couple of window lickers are having difficulty comprehending who the U23 coach is
An own goal for us (typical...) a penalty for them, with some real backs to the wall stuff in the second half to stay level with ten men I'm guessing the Chav fans don't think Sarri's in charge of their U23s?
Not on Twitter but on the OS, our U18s beat West Scam's 5-3 yesterday morning, going 4-0 up in the first half thanks to goals from Poch Jnr, Rayan Clarke and two from HOLY **** A NEW SIGNING Kion Etete, the Scammers pulled it back to 4-3, but Tarrelle Whittaker made it safe late on
Predictable with Scotty being the Manager there and good luck to him, he's done a superb job with the U18's and deserves the promotion. Just hope he doesn't persuade too many players to go with him.
I'd like to see him used as an academy Dele Alli. Seems to play better when he's not an outright striker and he can make late moves into the box. Hopefully he'll sign a new deal and stay on. He'll definitely get chances if he does.
Our U23s have been putting a lot of square pegs in round holes lately, with Roles or Shilow Tracey being deployed up front due to Parrott being injured while Sterling and Harrison are out on loan, meanwhile TO-B tends to be played either on the wing or as an attacking midfielder due to Maghoma III and more recently Shashoua II being preferred in central midfield
Yeah, I'm not sure about the current coach, but I haven't seen enough of them to judge. Results haven't been good, though. Might have to have a bit of an overhaul in the summer, due to the U18s coach leaving. Might depend on what happens at Fulham.
Failure to close down the player on the edge of the box from a corner, just like the first team. Excellent run by Cirkin for the first goal and great work by Roles for the second, though.
If we were chavski we'd go out and buy all of their players and lend them out to other teams, it would give us a better chance next year.
