    In response to the worst shows thread, i thought i'd do a best shows thread. I'm sure it's been done before, but as i can't find one, i'll start one here. What TV shows are you particularly fond of? Doesn't matter if they're embarassing, they're your favourites, and we shouldn't judge. Mine are;

    Magnum P.I. - The Best Moustache ever, hurtling around Hawaii in a Ferrari. Great storylines too. Tons of babes too. What more could you want?

    Blackadder - Doesn't matter which incarnation, they're all brilliant.

    Fawlty Towers - John Cleese at his most stressed best. A man at permanent breaking point makes it a classic

    The A-Team - Simple, formulaic, yet lovable, apart from the 5th series, where they changed the formula, and it was a bit crap.

    NCIS - My only real modern choice. Like csi, but with less science, and more jokes. One of the few modern shows that i can watch for hours.

    Thats my top 5. What shows do you love?

    Only Fools And Horses... One of the best shows ever made.

    And I agree with you regarding NCIS... Great show!

    Crap, forgot about the wire. I have all 5 seasons on DVD. Season 2 is the only one i'm not sure about. It can be a bit boring. But the other 4 seasons are ace.

    ashes to ashes having met the cast filmed in my work last year ,funny thing was gene hunt character sitting in my reception and i cacked myself!the leggy one was also with her she stank of smelly perfume from head to toe nice legs on her short skirt aparantly!---star trek generations with bold bloke!---beadles about legend end of saw that been filmed in orpington as well go lighltlyes sat on a bed and broke all beds in shop this poor sales assistant didnt know where to look beadle came running in with a beard and policeman uniform shame he died a few years ago !---classic 3-2-1 i loved that growing up----saint and greavsie----dempsey and makepeace-----time team very good---deal or no deal grows on you

    My mother liked that. I think it may have been because of Idris Elba....

    the thing i liked most about season 2 was McNulty's bad fake english accent (dominic west, is of course english)

    Yeah, it's a good show. Caught the last part of one of them and was fixed after that!

    Top-notch show.

    got another treasure hunt and interceptor showed re runs on challenge a few weeks ago mad interceptor bloke jumping out of helicopter i think he was scottish
