What this thread should have pointed out is my unconscious bias towards violent knife criminals of a certain race. Highlighting all the black criminals and ignoring the white and yellow Asian knife attackers . I could do one about white collar crime like tax avoidance and embezzlement where whitey and yellowy would be smashing records compared to their brown and black counterparts, but I'm less likely to have my tax avoided than shanked on the Overground in Hackney Wick by an angry black 15 year old for looking at his trainers funny.

Weird that the blame is often laid at schools who exclude kids who are then in turn much more likely to enter into criminal activity. What should schools be doing instead? What if the kids are being violent or abusive when they are at school? Head Teachers and Governors have a duty of care to the whole school, should this be put aside to allow disruptive pupils to remain a threat "just in case" they go all stabby if not? I can't recall anyone from the "Community" or other "Social Commentators" (ie Rappers) ever saying anything about an individual's personal responsibility. It's never the stabbers fault, they are always portrayed as being victims themselves because of society or the media or racism. It's too easy to hop on that old bandwagon, I seem to recall an endless procession of people claiming the Grenfell Tower tragedy was racist ffs. It all went a bit quiet when they found out most of the victims were Muslims or other brown folks and not all of Black West Indian descent as had been the assumption at the time.
Perhaps if inspirational successful black men pointed out how ******ed making rap videos with people masking up brandishing guns and knives rapping about stabbing other like minded idiots in the next post code was portraying the community as violent thugs and the damage it causes to impressionable fatherless children. Then some may work harder at school and get an education and a career .
