Only if the Mousers finish just below them in the League. If the mousers bottle it and Spurs finish second, not in a million years would they get a points deduction.

I said that because whoever finishes 4th in the league might not get the CL if Chelsea or Arsenal win the Europa and if that's us then a points deduction would help us, wishful thinking maybe.

I think the FA are defined by their actions. As you say inconsistency is the key word, their decisions smack of ignorance and bias. This is the same body that refused to appoint one of the greatest English managers of all time (who has a better record) Brian Clough, because the chairman of the day, who ruled the roost, didn't like Clough's attitiude. They are consistent at least, in their poor decision making and apparent ignorance of the sport.

    Who are they?
They have two former players on the FA board one played for Bognor and one played for Boston. Others are from the legal and business world, Fashion, Electronics, Insurance, a former Teacher, a couple of Lawyers and an Economist oh! and I forgot, the former head of United Biscuits. Still taking the biscuit I see. When it comes to football they are clearly out of their depth but they have to drag football with them. This all smacks of middle class elites keeping the working class in order. I would best describe them as Tarts in Fur Coats.

Spurs have the first Test Event on 24th March, the rearranged U18 fixture v Southampton in the U18 Premier League. As the U18 coach has just left to take up a first team coaching job with Scotty Parker at Fulham, Spurs should request that Poch is allowed to sit in the dugout to manage the U18 side. When the FA refuse, that will be his second ban served and he will;be OK for the mousers on the 31st.

Reading the comments of the 'Citeh fans' is a painful experience. The ignorance is exceeded only by their arrogance.

Football has destroyed itself and the twats entrusted with running the game in this country have just watched it happen.

    Computer says : nothing.

Citeh AFAIK have not violated PL "FFP" rules (which last time I looked
they were a doddle and nowhere near as hostile as those of UEFA) .

    Very little.
However , the punishment should also effect previous seasons.
When an athlete is caught drug cheating s/he gets a ban but in some sport s/he also have their title/s taken away.

Wishful thinking has us finishing 3rd so irrelevant.
Also wishful thinking doesn't give either Chelsea nor Arsenal the Europa cup

It's worth dredging up what I posted back in December about Football Leaks and The Sheikh Mansour Team's dodgy financing
    https://not606.com/threads/rival-watch.112743/page-2637#post-12360462

Football Leaks has also turned up some interesting comparisons with the transfers TSMT have made over the years

    Sergio Aguero
    €12m up front
    €12m in 2012
    €12m in 2013
€250k for every season he scores 15 goals
€250k for every season where he makes 25 league appearances
    €1m for every league title
€500k for every Champions League quarter final aggregate win
€1m for every Champions league semi-final aggregate win
However, the rumoured "Don't sell him to Los Ladrones" clause does not exist

    Eliaquim Mangala
    €30.5m for 56.67% of Mangala's sporting rights
An obligation to buy out the remainder of his rights, 33.3% owned by Maltese-based hedge fund Doyen Sports, and 10% by Danubio
...in other words, rather than the £32m they reportedly paid for Mangala, they actually paid £41m

Of course this hasn't led to them suspending betting on Poch joining Los Ladrones...

Just caught a bit of TalkShite and they were living up to their name again. They were having one of their regular Sterling love-ins and making some fairly reasonable points about his performance this season (but overdoing it of course). However, following a point made that Sterling improves Citeh just by playing, they then went onto, and all agreed, that Sterling improves England. YOU WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!? A lot of times these pundits never dare offer their own opinion, they just all agree with the narrative, in this case Sterling is brilliant and all the bad things he has done must not be mentioned. But seriously, whatever Sterling offers Citeh he offers England nothing and that is the clear evidence of just about every international he has played.

Southgate did the same thing that Pochettino did earlier in the season and tried to push a winger higher up the pitch than Kane.
All that does is nullify both players and waste a potentially dangerous attack.
