I think I'm remembering correctly that once upon a time you could only have three foreigners in your squad. If I'm wrong, pretend I'm not.

That would be very unlikely to happen post brexit, but if it did, which 3 foreign players do you keep?

Yeah Bobby is in, Salah out for me.

 

He's a forum favourite... But I think it's harder to get a top quality goal scorer than a top quality creative type.

Obviously they don't hold a candle to Firm but we have Ox and Lala who could perform Firm's duties... But I cant think of a Brit in our squad who can score goals and break through defences like Salah (or Mane) can.

But just for arguements sake, VVD, Salah, Firmino.

Allison is awesome but you can go buy a half decent English keeper, say butland where as getting any kind of creative forward player from uk you are severely limited.

 

Alisson & Van Dijk are the best in the world, definitely no competition from UK players

I think Mané would be the most flexible in adapting to our new attack

We might as well activate the Solanke buy-back too

 

Yeah, I value Mane highly he doesn't have lazy games even when the team is performing badly he's putting in a shift and grtting dangerous. In many cases he can be better than Salah despite Salah's bigger name.

Fair point. I choose Salah because he’s top scorer this season, broke the goal scoring record last season, creates the highest number of chances for us and chips in with assists.
