The defensive part of Shaq's game is what is keeping him out, he does not pick up players when we don't have the ball

Obviously you don't get to attack unless you get the ball... But...

Defence isn't where we need help at the moment. Our long list of recent 0-0 draws suggests we need to beef up our attack now, not our defence.

And some of our midfielders need to contribute on the ball.

And we’re playing Burnley at home. We don’t need 3 midfield grafters.

we also don't need a lad who heads off up the pitch leaving the cbs to have to hoof it cos he's standing on top of where firmino should be working.

we need Keita taking ball from cbs and causing people to come close him down.

you don't even need close down Henderson. you can stay in the line of 5 Burnley cms and he will back pass without even trying to turn...ever.

The defenders hoof anyway because they know everyone bar Fabinho hasn’t a clue what to do with the ball.

The funniest moment in the everton game was when Fabinho received the ball, let the ball go across his body, evading a press before playing to Hendo.

Hendo receives the ball in the exact same scenario but he instantly plays it backwards.

they try to play and then it's Matip.making 30 yard run or long diagonal ball to full back.

then later in game 2 cms will wander high up rather than make space and we hope even more.

it's really.simple. we need Someone to want to influence game, retain posession and bring team.up pitch

It’s annoying because we already have the players to do it ...

    mehhhhh.... not really.

players u appreciate most are those who are under appreciated... like eriksen at spurs. he does this role but ****s like alli and kane get the English press plaudits

David Silva, Bernardo silva (hes a proper **** as well which i like)

The abuse jorginho is getting at Chelsea. my god is bite their arms off to take him.

Nope - we already have the players. Fabinho Keita Gini Ox should be the main players for this season.

Agree that we need a creative type for next season but we have the tools to see out this season.

Fabinho is very confident on the ball. Keita is already one of the best dribblers in the squad and progresses us.

Gini can do a bit of everything but he plays better when he’s not babysitting Hendo.

We need to trust these 3 until the end of the season and I guarantee we will win all games.

Klopp was afraid of counter attack by Everton as a result he failed to bring an attacker instead of Milner.

    ah wtf
Keita is already one of the best dribblers in the squad and progresses us.
agreed but his passing is dreadful and he regularly just keeps running with the ball until he loses it.
Gini can do a bit of everything but he plays better when he’s not babysitting Hendo.
yet he has been worse than Hendo in both the ManU & Everton imo.
Plus we cannot rely on 3 MF players for the rest of the season though at times this season i think there has been too much rotation in MF.

His pass completion is 87% - which is on par with Hendo and slightly below Gini.

Keita also averages 1.9 successful dribbles per 90, More than Wijnaldum (1), Milner (0.7), Fabinho (0.5), and Henderson (0.2). Of course he’s going to lose the ball because HE TAKES MORE RISKS.

And yes, the point on Gini is his best games (and everyone else’s) is when they’re not next to Hendo.

those players ain't up to it wijnaldum vanishes away from home, never wants ball. when higher up he hogs it and kills.moves.

Keita isn't up to the demands sadly.

so compared to the players I named we don't have it.

maybe after another preseason Keita might step up... maybe.

Last season it was 1:1, we much more better this season to win ugly. Any other result apart from home win is a disaster.

It will be very hard to win the title if we drop points against Burnley.
