Thank you. As I responded to OLM's post, Forest fans get a worse deal @ the KC than City fans would @ The City Ground.. Now it's clear knowing the numbers. <cheers>

The point is City fans get a worse deal for any game than Forest do. If we had Forest's pricing structure there is no doubt crowds would be better. I was comparing the cost of taking my grandkids to a game at Forest to what it would cost to take them into a similar seat at the KC. Despite the Allams ridiculous assertion that our pricing structure is competitive it is no contest.
Put another way a Forest fan in my circumstances would pay £38 at their ground to see them play City. For a similar seat the KC a City fan would pay £72 for the same seats.

I'm not arguing with you Barcha...I'm agreeing with you ! Hence my original question (post # 1074) to you & my query to OLM's response (post # 1076). I just needed the numbers as (to me) yours & OLM"s posts were not clear to me.
It's all in the wording !

Yes, and a lot of them will be young kids who will be the fans of the future also with prices that encourage ones liable to give vocal support - 18 to 23 year olds. There are now plans to increase the capacity of the City Ground. Just think what they could have achieved if they had business geniuses in charge like we have.

12,500 I think. But it probably was actually that and not 7000 dressed up as 12k. Poor Leeds following too by all accounts. Heard an FC fan passed away at the game, thoughts to his family.

Apparently the highest viewing figure for a Super League game this season was 250,300. Quite unbelievably it wasn't for The Biggest Derby In The Universe And Everywhere Else but Wigan V Leeds.

250,300 ? If they re run Fanny Craddock's best hard boiled eggs highlights in black and white at 4.00 am it would attract a bigger viewing audience then that.

The viewing figures for our game last night will probably have been lower.

I doubt that very much. Top of the league Norwich v Hull City. There will have been more viewers from Leeds, the Sheffield clubs, the Midlands clubs and all the RL fans in Hull wanting us to lose, then that.
Not counting the rest of the world.

We averaged 278,667 for our televised games last season, just over what Fanny Crackock and her eggs manage.

Only Leeds, Boro, Forest and Wednesday average over 300,000.

Considering how few people follow Rugby League, the Wigan v Leeds viewer numbers are rather impressive.
