A creative player akin to Coutinho would be ideal in the summer. Even though our midfield is alright and has some depth, Fab is a defensive midfielder, Gini and milner are more box to box, Ox and Keita will take the ball and drive forward and Lallana and Hendo are useless but there's no one with that spark to create. If nothing else, it gives us a lot of flexibility on how we start games and gives us options to change it up.
Coutinho has no chance getting into our side. He doesn't offer enough going forward and nothing at all going backwards. His Barca-inflated wages and fee would be too much for a squad player.

Im guessing playing for a country in the eu ie on loan still it would make it easier for him to get a visa. As we are coming out the eu it would **** us up that way. Thats my guess. Tobes or someone will clarify if im rightish lol.
Surely depends what the rules are around freedom of movement? If eu need to get visa then it’ll affect tonnes of footballers, if they can still come and go as they please then shouldn’t make any difference.
Good point. I read somewhere while ago brits living abroad and foreigners living here would not be effected by us leaving eu as agreed by everyone alledgedly. Football dif governing body and rules though.
yes you guys are right he is form nigeria i think and was signed then sent on loan right off to gather up points for work permit using eea rules. Allan has been sent off home to brazil, in prep to sell him i guess. THe Uk work permit rules are more tough than some of the other EU countries... the reality however is the lad aint that good and isn't going to be playing for us anyway.... We took a few before 2016 in like this and looked to play the permit back door but the reality is none were actually any good!
theres no agreement on eu rights yet. its about transfer of pensions and social benefits etc. of course the UE don't ind but the UK are the ones kicking up fuss cos they don't want eastern europeans sponging the dole that they apparently do even though the evidence is they don't.
Liverpool angered Barcelona when Michael Edwards demanded they pay a premium for any Reds player following the departure of Philippe Coutinho. The Liverpool Echo say a clause that was demanded by Reds transfer guru Edwards displeased Barcelona at the time of the negotiations. Liverpool insisted on a clause that meant that, should the La Liga giants come calling again, they would have to pay a ‘premium’. That means another £89million for any Reds star they wish to buy before 2020.
Liverpool have contacted RB Leipzig to 'signal their interest' in Timo Werner, according to reports in Germany. SportBild suggest the Reds have asked to be updated on developments over the forward's future.
This was everywhere yesterday and tuesday. Nobody post about it on here then? Other one is cant remember exact figure but werner and brandt available for a combinsd cost of £75.3 mill. Yeah dont ask me the .3 Figure i didnt get it either
Even if he is a dirty manc fan Augero is a lfc fan but still profesional to city. He would be no dif for us.
He's German and probably not really a Man Utd fan, I imagine some journo asked him to pick a PL team once.
Think we discussed before but Werner is a good player who is best suited to fast transition / counter attacking football. Given that we’ve now switched to a more possession based style, not sure we will get the best out of him.
