Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino thinks they will be able to play the home leg of the Champions League quarter final at their new stadium.
If all the things we heard about the design of the stadium we going to make one hell of a noise and intimidate opponents
You may not believe me, as I never mentioned it here, but my upset pick of the decade (in a team sport, anyway) really was Ajax over Real at Ajax.
When I arrived in KÖLN back in 1976, QPR were competing inEurope. They had won the first leg against KÖLN 4-0. I went to the second leg. The Germans were all over QPR. Kept on scoring. They got 5. But QPR Got an away goal, so went through! I was expecting/hoping for something like that in Dortmund! Just a measure of the huge achievement of Spurs that that did not materialise!!!
Im enjoying our CL campaign. They were putting their bodies on the line even with the luxury of a 3 goal cushion last night. We seem to be clawing our way out of our recent rut. 3 in 3 for Kane...hes back! On a side note, Sissoko is going to score an absolute belter one of these days
Nothing dodgy about that penalty in either award or execution, think you are getting your penalties in the NLD mixed up because the one at the other end was dodgy in both!
The penalty the other team was awarded has nothing to do with the subject of our reduced scoring since Harry came back TCM. You will agree that we scored more freely in Kane's absence won't you?
Some people are very greedy aren't they and selfish? A lot of Real's supporters were chanting nasty things after the defeat last night as if the efforts of the past three seasons have all been forgotten, selfish. What is it, three times on the trot they've won it? They've known the highs of winning so why don't they sit back and say "Well, we've felt the joy of success so why not let others feel it too?" That's what I felt when Wales beat England at rugby for the first time in 6 years last week. We'd felt the joys so let Wales feel them for a change was my attitude. People begrudge others their euphoria don't they? Someone else is going to feel the raw delight of winning the CL and good luck to them and YES, I do hope it's us.
Little old spurs must have pissed off a lot of people last night all the slagging off in the media about how we bottle it how wonderful £ity and the mousers are well they are choking on that bottle this morning . A very professional performance last night from Hugo and the rest of the team ,well done to poch on getting his tactics spot on that was a joy to watch.
No I won't we scored 12 goals in 7 matches without him in the 7 before he was injured we scored 16 (and I haven't included the 7 we got at Tranmere). Overall in the premier league this season we average 1.96 goals per game with Harry in the side and 1.75 without him.
Hugo was great last night but for me, Jan cemented his place as a leader of men and should be club captain. He was colossal.
