Im totally sick and tired reading through endless lists of rubbish hasbeens that no one wants, being suggested for us in the loan market. Can no one understand that these players are unwanted for a reason .... Theyre no ****ing use. Until we are actually able to compete for a decent players signature with othe Championship clubs, were going no where fast.

Sorry Eire but I'm getting tired of reading endless negative, pessimistic threads. We've just signed a current international striker who apparently West Ham wanted to sign a couple of weeks ago but couldn't get players off their wage bill soon enough to accomodate him. By the time Parker left Forssell had been impressed enough by the set up at Leeds to choose us. Yes I know he's a freebie,& I know we could do with a LB & CB etc but he's a more than useful addition to provide competition up front. Let's give him a chance shall we? Let's try & be a little more positive. & let's wait until we see who we actually get in on loan before looking at a list & moaning that they're no good.

My point proven, no one else wanted him. If they had and offered any kind of mediocre wage for the division, he wouldn't be with us. The pessimistic threads might stop when the team starts performing. Sorry but I prefer not to bury me head in the sand like a bloody ostrich

IF Leeds go out and GET Danny Wilson from Liverpool, who every other team would want, then I will agree we do look for the players we actually need. He can only go to a Championship club on loan for the season, we need a good CB and he is clearly one.

Agreed, I would love to see a loan signing like that, it would signal some sort of intent from our great leaders. Not holding my breath though

We have 4 competent CB's in my opinion. LB, RB and CM are more of a problem, though if Taylor's going to be around he could be a good backup for Aidy. We still need a RB as I'd rather Lees was in the middle, and CM is light on bodies.

The one I truely feel sorry for is Simon if Bates hadn't have fallen in love with Forsell we wouldn't have this problem

Sorry GkofGTM, I can't help feel you're pushing the word "competent" to new boundaries. We have Kisnorbo who will take a long time to get anywhere near back to the way he was, we have O'Dea who is not of the level required, O'Brien who has no confidence perhaps due to man management from Grayson and we have Bruce, who appears to be surplus to requirements. Others in this area are simply covering any position available.

Contrary to popular belief ostriches do not bury their head in the sand. It's a myth.

Kisnorbo (Who's getting better with each game he plays), O'Dea (Who Irish fans were pleased with against Russia on Tues), Bromby and Lees were who I were referring to. I think O'Brien's past it but I dunno about Bruce

Bromby has disappeared as well, maybe he's injured? Lees is a youngster without much experience, it's the way we need to go but we need to be aware he is still developing. Wilson from Liverpool is first class and has SPL, European and international experience, as well as being around and training with top quality players at Liverpool. We can get him for a whole season at a cost we can afford, GET HIM.

O dea made two clangers on Tuesday, both were salvaged by Dunne. Dunne was virtually a defence on his own. If we had someone half as good, O'Dea might be ok each week for us

I think the Bates and Chelsea old boys has kicked in again, not sure Grayson had anything to do with Forsell coming, may be another Bannan.

Is he available? If so we should break the bank and get him. Paul mcgrath described Tuesdays performance as the finest he had ever seen by any irish centre half

Fair enough, not sure if it made anything for Paynter, but the rest should have got a lot out of it.
