Dare I say it, Aurier wasn’t too bad either. Just turn a blind eye to his throw ins.

Thought sanchez was good second half but a big liability in the first half.

Verts and alderweireld played out of their skin and lloris probably deserves motm.

Good disciplined performance and poch got the tactics right suffocating the centre as dortmund just kept trying to go through there.

Was a but surprised a european ref let the game be very physical and didnt really give free kicks to either side when i was expecting them and i generally have a high tolerance to physicality.

Thought Sanchez was great all game. He was better than Toby tonight but outshone by Jan. 22 years old, he’s gonna be a monster CB in 2-3 years once he works on his positioning and grabs more experience.

As for the refereeing, if only English refs could be as good. Didn’t give any fouls for the pussy little pushes or slight nudges, remembered that football is a physical sport. Can we transfer him in for Mike Dean and/ or Michael Oliver?

Harry Redknapp just said anyone who has been saying that spurs should have dropped Kane is an absolute idiot. Interesting :emoticon-0105-wink:

Yeah in the main good. There were a couple i would have given but definitely no complaints. No major decisions.

The one thing i did find funny was the var for dortmund. Dier had a massive handful of the guys shirt. Obviously he wasnt getting there anyway as it was a short ball and it happens all the time but it doesnt seem that **** will go away with VAR except maybe when its a big club against a small club

Mr Redknapp disagrees with your opinion - I would never use the word he used - but I might agree with him:emoticon-0102-bigsm

For all anybody knows had we dropped Kane we might have scored more as we scored well when he was injured didn't we? It's easy for Harry Redknapp to speak after the event as it is for anyone but I was willing to speak up before the event. I make no apologies.

You don't need to apologise and you may be right in that Spurs might have scored more if Kane wasn't playing. But the fact is Kane played and he scored! One goal was enough, or rather, more than enough. Once he's fully fit, he should play. I advocated easing him in on his return but certainly wouldn't drop him!

Well done Spurs, you played a professional game tonight. Lloris MoM for me!
