And now a fine goal to cap off a majestic performance! Oh well, at least we spent the 10 million well
The VAR issue there, as I say every time if it takes that long to decide then it was not clear and obvious that an error was made. VAR reviews* should be limited to 30 seconds, and if VAR are not certain to overturn a referee(or in this case linesman's) decision then their decision stays the same. * unless there are multiple things that need reviewing, in which case 30 seconds per incident
He was, because he’s clearly got the talent, we saw it when he was part of a good attacking team here and everyone’s seeing it now he’s got good attacking players around him again at Ajax.
Extraordinary game from Dusan tonight. Very nearly had another assist (and Ziyech should have scored it). I’m genuinely pleased for the lad.
But isn’t about being great doing it against all odds. Dusan played great tonight but he was bang average for two seasons. He is a good player who played great tonight. He played well when we had good attacking players as he now has. Great players play well no matter what. Bit like our own MLT. Edit. Although I guess your point is he was wasted so perhaps so. I just think he couldn’t be arsed and that he contributed to him being wasted.
Wow!!! Great result for Ajax. I hope this team is not asset stripped. Just put on a 200mfee on each player. As for Real, this defeat is good for them as they now realise that the time has come to rebuild the squad. Out with all of them except Courtois and the young Brazilian. Ramos for ???? Manchester United? Arsenal? Juve? I wouldn´t touch him with a barge pole.
That's exactly what's going to happen. de Jong has gone, de Ligt won't be far behind. And I think top clubs will be eyeing up a few others as well.
Good, that means they'll be a healthy crowd at Wembley. I hate seeing finals with a half full (if that) Wembley.
It is possible that these two teams play each other again in the League 1 play-off final. If PFC win the Checkatrade and reach the play-offs, then I´ll be happy because I feel the promoted teams, bar possibly Sunderland will struggle.
Tadic magic tonight! Amazing performance. Good seeing him smile. Dusan, Dusan Tadic......wooooooowoooooooo
I'm guessing the BBC didn't watch Tadic last year saving Southampton? "Tadic, almost unrecognisable from his Southampton days, produced a moment of excellence to set up Neres before seemingly putting the tie out of reach with a finish that epitomised his performance"
