Looking back at the bench options, one thing strikes me: do we really need two defensive midfielders there?
We’re struggling with an outlet ball as it is. Taking off kane’s size and presence to put Son up top won’t work. He’ll be outmuscled with everything.

Think everyone knew we’d be under the cosh for that first 45. That’s hopefully been a mental victory for the lads and a demoralising half for Dortmund, who despite battering our goal, couldn’t break it. We need more width on the attack. Kane doesn’t need a strike partner, he needs people drawing players out wide and then hopefully getting crosses/ through balls in. Move Son LW and have Eriksen drift to the right. It’s all very narrow when we attack and barring that one chance with Son, Dortmund have easily dealt with our forward play.
Looking for a chance to attack is key in the second half. Dortmund can't afford to concede. 5 in one half is not going to happen
