A degree has nothing to do with the ability to discriminate between posters, as you have just proved.

Generally when going into Medical and Scientific fields you can't get through your degree without a fair bit of intelligence.

IQs are also a very poor measure of intelligence, I have an IQ of 158 and I did a Pharmacy degree, my friend has an IQ of 144 and he went on to do Medicine. Talking to him, you'd say he's a very intelligent person and he picks up on things I don't.

If you're talking about A levels and GCSEs, then you'd be correct - with some hard work and limited intelligence you can go far. A degree is a different story, and to provide evidence to that - go and find a thick Doctor.

Wonderfull <laugh> So you wish us to measure intelligence by Degree but not by IQ. Are we all allowed to pick our units of measure?

Liverbird the real test of intelligence requires no degrees/IQ/ or any other artificial measure. Intelligence simply can be simply defined: My definition?

Intelligence is not what you know it is what you do with what you know. Simple.

In fact you have proved my point. With all your fine education you can still come on to a forum look at a thread, fail to notice any degree of difference between the posters and then proceed to lump them all into one general insult.

    Not very bright is it!

I think you've completely missed the irony in your post. You're a grumpy bastard <laugh>.

  14. I don't know whether or not any of the Scouse posters on this board are intelligent. What I do know, for an absolute certainty, is that a certain number of them lack the balls to face open debate with honest rival fans.

Ze Scouser has the freedom to come onto our board to spout his inane bile, but lacks the moral conviction to enable intelligent rival posters to do the same on his board.

Nothing you say, Mr Ze will ever have any relevance for me until you prove that you have the balls to stand up to an open debate that reaches the conclusion that Carroll is an absolute donkey, that Henderson is a ball-less juvenile, and that "King" Kenny is going to get the sack before he has the chance to retire.

So what you're saying is: "Anyone who doesn't agree with me is an idiot." <doh> You've got some god complex there.

Great, 4 years at university and your reply to my argument is that I am a grumpy bastard. What was your degree in, Delusion? <laugh>

How did you reach that conclusion?

  20. Because, whilst you exercise some god-given right to waltz onto this forum and bore us with your inane bile, you support a ban on my venturing onto your board.
