@astro who has never been to Liverpool, let alone Anfield, preaching about the Merseyside football rivalry. https://www.not606.com/threads/vs-everton-a.372223/page-24#post-12614944
They’ve not taken it well in the main. Some of them were trying to kick off as we left the stadium, sad ****s.
I remember walking to the tram after Burnley at home and looking at the City result, they’d just lost to Newcastle. I think Liverpool could have gone either 7 or 10 points clear if they won their game the next day. They done ****ed up!
They were fapping themselves silly after beating Watford 5-0 midweek as well, it’s an emotional rollercoaster for them, poor souls.
They’ve had a great season but they’re failing all the tests of how to win a title. Went to City. Lost. Went to United to play a patched up team. Lucky to get a point. Went to a struggling Everton. Lucky to get a point. They could still win it but they’re really choking at the minute.
You missed: "Lost to the mighty Newcastle United - destroyers of others' hopes and dreams" ps. I know that was City but Liverpool have yet to come to us, just you wait and see!
Scousers v dog ****ers has seen some great games down the years. Usually with the shell suits winning.
Its good to see some new rivalries developing for the seat ****ters. Burton Albion and Accrington Stanley look like they could develop into classic confrontations for you in the years to come.
Didn't see any footie yesterday as was driving from South Wales to Loughborough and then to Hertfordshire ... Maddison started the season very well but like a lot of young players his form can go a bit in and out ... he's been involved in 10 goals in the Prem for us ... not a bad start ... we have a very young squad pushing for first team footie and Maddison is not the only one that can be inconsistent ... Gray in particular can be frustrating
