...but unlike Arriva Trains Wales who rarely get you there at all.

A feast of flowing football this was not. It is easy to see why Bolton are on their way to League 1. Apart from the odd counter attack they offered nothing other than systematic, cynical fouling and time wasting.

The Swans played a passing game but even with three wingers on the pitch is was painstakingly slow and laborious. Bolton paid a heavy price for their cynicism, being reduced to 9 men, but even then I wasn’t confident the Swans would break them down.

The breakthrough eventually came from a close range Ollie McBurnie strike, but after that the Swans still did not offer much of a goal threat, bizarrely playing the ball around the back four much to the dismay of the home fans.

We eventually managed a second late on, a fine strike from Celina after Bolton were stretched.

Three points in the bank and we stay in mid table.

We’ll find out how good we are on Friday night with an away trip to high flying Norwich.

Attendance - 17,880 (but it was more like15000)

MOM was the Bolton keeper and fair play to him, We could have easily won that 6-0 if Boltons keeper was not having his best display of the season.....Played most of the game in Boltons half and 11 shots on target and countless shots off target.......Play like this in our next 2 away games and the lads have a good chance of getting something.....

We got what we deserved today and although it took a age to get there we did it. against a decent keeper who seemed to have the gods smiling down on him ,Bolton deserve all they get they have to be the worst "team" that's I've had the misfortune to watch for quite a while. They weren't interested in competing just spoiling , playing 6 at the back when they had 11 men FFS .Yes we were slow at times but it must have been as frustrating for our players as it was to watch it form the stands. Playing out at the back was imo a plan to try to get them to open up sometimes it worked with some lovely balls across from James but other times square balls across the goal area with no end product made it more edgey than it should have been. Noone lost the plot in the first half and should have had second yellow well before he did depart.3 points is 3 points and another game under the belt for players who wouldn't have had a look in this time last year

Bolton had debts of £200 million, hardly comparable to our situation when the Yanks took over. They didn’t come here to do a “clean up” job. They came here to milk the cash cow, but left the gate open and the cow is now grazing the neighbouring field.

On the subject of the Yanks, as caring owners, when was the last time they visited the Liberty Stadium for a game?

We are heading nowhere under these owners. I was at the Liberty yesterday, the place has changed, there is no longer any genuine excitement vibe in the ground. I went for a leak half-time & it felt like it was back at the dear ol Vetch, during the worst periods of the last 40 years, with a club that’s going nowhere fast, rudderless & leaderless. The American’s don’t give a flying fvck about the team or the day to day running of ‘our club’. Waiting to be chastised now for the last 2 words from you know who!! As been alluded, when was the last time the ‘caring’ owners were in town. If they’ve got a plan (5 year or whatever), it certainly doesn’t feel like it. Surely the players will feel it too & if they’re not on the long list of outgoings the caring owners are preparing to cash-in on, they probably will want to add themselves to it. Wishing for a club that’s got some ambition. I’m all for cutting our cloth accordingly, these Yanks are tearing it to shreds...

Finally, apparently 17k odd there yesterday, I’ve never seen so many empty seats for a league match since the last time we were in the Championship, fans are deserting in their droves. They can see the writing...

But don't you know to have any emotional attachment to the Club is frowned upon and it is "Their" Club after all.;) Poor atmosphere created by a poor "training" game on the pitch but when you consider what's happening off the pitch can we expect any better ,the players enthusiasm seems to have been tempered since the close of the January window when perhaps the realisation by the players of what's happening doesn't bode well for them as a team .I hope I'm wrong but there's always hope to fall back on .

I’m at a point where I don’t care on the results, the panic to find a decent stream to watch the game on match days are gone. My reaction when we score is totally tempered than in years gone by. These Yanks ave sucked my enthusiasm for the Swans out of me. Nothing but a bunch of leaches and I don’t care what the village idiots say, we’re **** as a club.

I’m longing for the next two years to be over so the parasites that have raped the club of every last penny of the parachute payments have **** off back to DC. With a bit of luck let’s hope the eventual new owners will rebuild us from whatever dvision we will be in. But let’s hope there will be something left on The Swansea City carcas for new owners to eventually build from. :(

Totally understand your sentiments never: we never should’ve got to this stage. Generally labelled previously, as the ‘model’ club....

As it happens, personally, I’m almost the opposite. Peculiarly, my enthusiasm has been at a higher level this season, than many a Premier League one. We’re a total shambles of a club, but because of the managerial guidance of Potter, we’ve somehow, albeit - possibly in a temporary false sense of security, as he could easily be tempted away & who would blame him; become a football team again, we can now watch matches & see glimpses of what we used to be. Some of the football & team goals we’ve witnessed, admittedly at a lower league standard, have been up there with anything I’ve seen as a Swans fan. We’ve also, maybe through all the off-field distractions, caused an us & them mentality. We’re all in it together. The team, Potter & some of the fans, against the regime!! Look at Daniel James, he was away, the next thing he’s tearing Brentford to shreds, in what for me was a truly memorable 2nd half in the FA Cup. That’s been this season for me, desperate displays to performances like Millwall away, when Jeff was sublime.

I can’t wait for the Yanks to go, hopefully that will be some day soon & we can begin to get our Swans back. I don’t care what League we’re in either, just as long as they fvck off. In the meantime I’m going to enjoy Potter’s reign, for however long that will be...

<doh> Debt is Debt however much it is....I can see that a lot of you dont understand the debt and mess we are in.......What has Boltons debt got to do with our mess ? The owners say it could take up to 5 seasons before we are solvent again and potter says we dont have enough money to buy players that cost's millions......Don't you listen or do you think you are above them and know better..<laugh> We have no spare funds and must work within a tight budget and i'm really glad the owners have taken over the running of the club and doing what is needed to be done......

You brought up the subject of Bolton<doh>

If debt is debt, do you believe a £10 debt is the same as a £200 million pound debt?
