Dave, I know several of the Paravani family personally, and indeed worked with a family member (though not in the dessert business!) I can confirm that they are a lovely bunch, and still very much a going concern. The OP obviously has no original thoughts, and gets his ideas from (albeit very good) TV progs.

"Let battle commence!" It's a shame the vanilla in it's so bland. I end up just getting a fork and skewering the dough and chocolate bits and then eating them. That dough sure is delightful though.
