Thinking that a teenage girl should be charged, prosecuted and jailed IF she is deported back to the U.K. does not make someone an ISIS sympathiser.

Saying that a teenage girl should be shot, systematically raped or forcibly used as an organ donor is quite ISIS.

She was under age Comm (UK law) - she married within 10 days of crossing in to Syria. She was taken across the border by a man that had a record of exporting kids, he was later arrested by the Turkish authorities.

ISIS came about in many forms but it's roots were at the removal of Saddam Hussein. By removing Saddam, we allowed the majority ****tes to take control, the Sunni's felt they were being persecuted, hence the rise of ISIS or AQI as it was known in 2004.

 

I understand it completely and think that, if she is deported by Syria, she should be charged, prosecuted and jailed.

I don’t think the U.K. should lower itself to ISIS standards and stick her in a room to be systematically raped or murdered for organ harvesting.

I also don’t think the U.K. should adopt a policy of saying that it was ok for her to be British until she committed a crime, at which point she became Bangladeshi.

The thirst for vengeance, which I get, fuelled by newspaper headlines that were exploited by weak politicians, would be a short term, unlawful, ultimately cluster **** inducing mistake.

Whether you agree or not it is the law that she was underage. How that relates to other underage 'things' i'm not sure your point. I've never edged away from that in any circumstance to my memory, i can't speak for others.
