Prefer yedlin to mamquillo but I don't think we could to anything more and needed them to have an off day-to-day .
They are the best side I've seen deal with our attack all season and that's in both games! We usually have a bit of sting in up.top even when we don't see as much of the ball .
I'd love to have him turn into a club legend but, if I am honest, he's too good for us, so just going to enjoy it while it lasts. I just hope when he goes it's with good grace and a nine figure transfer to a giant and not a Payet special
I'm terms of creating clear chances mate we never looked like scoring. We usually have 2 or 3 proper chances. At least we now know we're still **** and it's going to take a lot more than one average price player to make a difference. Almiron is good but we need many more millions invested to compete mid table let alone top.half.
Biggest shock for us hammers fans today was Masuaku actually looked like a footballer. Most of the time we look better with 10 men than an XI that includes Masuaku, he's an absolute liability. Most of the posts on reddit when Cresswell got injured were along the lines of "NOO!! **** no! not ****ing Masuaku!! ****, ****, we've lost"
I'm am honest lad I think the class of players was the difference, however Robson lonfstaff and a few of our lads looked leggy today, so that might be why.
We definitely carried less threat than usual today mate . Our corners and crossrs created better chances for them than us today! When we were awarded corners in was like shouting """ get back """ before we took them ffs
I have to say far too many of our famously fickle and deluded fans were beginning to annoy me with their pre match belief that we've suddenly turned in to a top half side. I was hoping we might get something, but tbh I expected to lose and I also expect us to lose against Everton unless they have an off day. I really hope people stop twisting about the performances of individual players when we lose to sides with better players that we should lose to in the first ****ing place.
Merson said before the game Rondon Perez and Almiron are miles ahead of any front 3 in the bottom half. He must be on glue
Lol tbh I think Rondon looked leggy from the off and Perez too last two ganes. Itsca canny front 3 if we've got the ball or hit on the counter with pace but neither of those two ideals was a reality today. We looked like we were grinding today
I actually thought we did well in parts but West ham were really good today and deserved the win. Although we had quite a few shots I thought they did really well at stopping us being able to counter attack and limiting options when we had the ball.
We conceded far too early away from home you're in deep **** if you concede before the bubbles are even burst
