With a bit of history too. Apparently the first Golden point since the Super League brought in the rule.

I had to google, but it seems they're not allowed to draw, so they play on for a golden point.

That's one win in 14 games, and leaves them in a grand final play off place, so who knows how **** the ones below must be.

I wonder if the travelling thousands of the black and white army regaled the Wigan with a rousing chorus of "How **** must you be , we're winning a game" ?

A lot of empty seats considering the biggest, most well known rugby club in the world were playing at the most successful one.

One good thing about it, Gollum will beside himself so the talking about it, interviews with everyone connected to FC and talking to fans phoning in about history making FC will take up 50 minutes of Sportstalk giving them little time to discuss crisis struck City. If FC had lost as well as Rovers and City it would all have been about our problems.

Rovers player hit with a bottle thrown by one their own fans at Castleford last night. RH reported it as a 'bottle thrown from the crowd' and described as an 'idiot' Not a HKR idiot.
HDM and the Rovers coach do say it was thrown by a HKR fan at the game. But he was dealt with by their own supporters and he was ejected from the ground, not hard as it was the end of the game. No mention of an arrest.
Imagine what would happen if Jarrod Bowen or any of the players was hit with a bottle thrown from the North Stand this afternoon ?
Would the culprit just be 'ejected' or would they be facing a life time ban and probably a prison sentence, and the culprit and the club a hefty fine ?
Why does the law operate in a different way for RL ?

    Don't let's forget :-

    a) It's rough, it's tough, it's Rugby League
    b) It's a man's game
    c) It's a family game
    d) It's a lesbians' game
    e) Not rolling in money so no cash cow for the police

Expect a few holidays to be booked and conservatories to be paid for in the next few weeks, City v Birmingham is very lucrative for Humberside Police.

Online they did refer to them as an idiot Hull KR fan, but no word on reports to Police

The difference in treatment in the media and legally is ridiculous

On a separate note Castlefords ground is now called the Mend A Hose Jungle!!!

At Hull home games you can buy 'unreserved seating' tickets.

Now that our gates are ****, we need the same privilege.

Because they have unreserved tickets at .FC games the capacity is reduced to 23,500 . A capacity which the biggest derby in the universe and everywhere else has never reached,

Maybe Allam could sell unreserved blocks?

Despite no trouble at all and the old town teeming with Brummies before the game and not a copper or riot van to be seen anywhere.. We even shared a taxi to the ground with a couple ( and didn't charge them) But we see coppers inside the ground which I believe triggers another payment from the club to Humberside's finest. We are searched on entering the stadium etc, constantly monitored inside the ground by the police CCTV.
My point in all of this is thus......RL fans are treated far, far more leniently then football fans. I speak for Hull here where we have the same laws, share the same stadium, the same police force and of course the same council. We are also mostly citizens of the same city/region.
We have witnessed two pitch invasions at HKR in recent years with vicious fighting taking place all over the pitch over a prolonged period. On one occasion is involved fans of both local clubs. Bottle throwing at the KC during fc games seems to be a regular thing especially during the derby. Last night it happened again at a HKR match. The fc coach said publicly that the team bus was attacked last season when travelling through East Hull with bottles thrown through the windows.
And what has happened at football games involving Hull City over this time ? Nothing. And which game is policed heavily whilst the other isn't at all ?
Who's fans can buy alcohol and drink it in their seats whilst watching the game ? Who's fans cannot be trusted at away games to buy alcohol at all whilst home fans can drink themselves into oblivion ?
Which code is publicly paraded as the 'family game' and which code is continually policed as though WW3 was about to break out with movements of away fans restricted, countless banning orders in place and fans generally treated like criminals every where they go ?
If this difference in attitudes took place only on the colour of someone's skin there would, rightly, be an international outcry, but because it takes place only on the code of sport one follows in the same city it is accepted. And whilst most people see it is a trivial it will continue.

Saw a Birmingham teen being searched today, made to take off his trainers and the copper 'emptied' them and found nowt.

All this for fans of a club who come from the same city where there have been a spate of knife killings in recent weeks, where no stop and search is permitted.

    Lost for words.

No doubt there will be an in depth discussion about it on RH and Sportstalk. Any reports of City fans breaking into the KR club shop and stealing KR shirts yet?

If this was at a City match Corcoran would be leading a specialist team studying videos for weeks and declaring they were determined to rid the game of such hooligans, ensuring they ended up in court and calling for banning orders.

Can't blame them. They were worried after Police Intelligence told them the Zulu Warriors kicked off big style against Leeds. Can't be too careful even if happened in 1985.
