I rate Colo a 78 for strength, and a 79 for jumping Colo's ability is in his agility, and precision tackles. The way he nicks the the ball away from peoples feet. I give Colo an 83 for stand tackling, and also an 82 for agility.
This. It's actually the reason i'd only give him somewhere between 67-72 for strength and jumping. He gets bullied phsically quite often.
He's isn't a weak player mate. He does get bullied at times by big players but that doesn't make him weak, it just makes him not as strong as them. He can hold off most strikers. He's managed to barge and hold off players like Anelka and Van Persie, who aren't easy players to beat mate. He struggles at times against bigger players, but he's not weak. And he does win things in the air as well mate, but again just not aganist big players. He's not great strength or ariel wise but he's good enough to hold his own against most strikers. I'd stick with 78 for strength which gives him the ability to wrestle against most strikers, and 79 for heading which gives him the ability to win the ball against most strikers, but with 78-79 for these abilities, he will get beaten by big players like Drogba, which is why i always jockey and slide tackle with Colo to get the ball from bigger players, because he can't force them off. You need to think outside the number and think how it affects the game. If i made him as low as 67 for strength he'd barged off the ball by most strikers, which he doesn't. 78 for strength means he's quite strong, when you get to the 80's that's when you see a player pull his weight in the game. I'd give the likes of Leon Best around 81 for strength. He's not pushed off the ball very often, and he's also got good balance.
Player growth in fifa 11 pisses me off no end. I have youngsters Schurrle and Henriksen as regular subs. They always get games, they're basically the only two subs I ever bring on in every single game, and BOTH of their overalls have decreased by 1! It's totally flawed, and I should bloody hope it's fixed for fifa 12!!
This! Macheda's meant to have high growth potential, i've played him every game for a season (including League Cup which i won) and he's stayed the same!
I know some players don't really start growing much until they're about 22 I think. But to go down is ridiculous and bloody annoying!
The system is ridiculous, I've got a player in his twenties who's gone up about 10, and they said he was nothing special
I hate the lack of player growth sooo much. I used to like buying youngsters (someone like Lukaku on the last game) but after 5 years he hadn't changed! In reality a player could improve by like 5 or more a season (like Sturridge last season) Sort it out EA!
I bought Ranger for Hartlepool, consecutive promotions and very successful cup campaigns, he's top scorer every time and hasnt gone up once. Such an idiotic system.
Ben Arfa goes up like a champ though. 2 in less than a season. He's making everybody else jealous. Same with Cabaye. My Ben Arfa is now 80 on this save and Cabaye 81. Highest I've got Ben Arfa to is 85. Pissed off about Schurrle and Henriksen though! They're meant to be the future!
At his best Ben Arfa is around an 82, but i'd put him down to 80 until he gets back to form. 78 is too low for me. And anyways, his pace, agility, dribbling ect boost his rating. Quick players are always boosted by their speed.
My lass wanted to play it so she bought it on disc, as her steam downloads take ages. What does she have to do? Download from steam. I don't understand why the **** they made a physical copy if you just have to download it anyway.
Without the option to install from disc in the steam menus? Might be because the un-updated version on steam is actually an unfinished dev version.
Up against StoneyNUFC's FIFA club atm. Won 3-0 despite not having our holding mid on, forcing me to go any.
