Doubts over Tottenham's mentality will "never go away" until they win a trophy, according to former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon. As a top team you are always tested and the really top teams keep answering the questions - that means winning a trophy. There are certain question marks over the mentality of Tottenham that will never go away until they tick the winning box, that is how it should be. They need to learn from the past but by the end of the season they may not fulfil their potential again. That only goes away when you win something. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47418645
Just seen this is on BT Sport at 12.30, so will probably watch the first half before going to work. Or maybe I'll wash my hair, despite being nearly bald. Smart money is probably on the draw.
I'd take a draw now tbh. Spurs will have a point to prove after losing their last two and they will not want to lose 3 in a row, especially to us. Make no mistake though, this is a ****ing massive game for both clubs, it a big game always, but this one could define the rest of the season for each club. If Spurs win they put some daylight between themselves and the chasing pack. If we win though, that's 3 losses in a row for Spurs, losing at home to their arch rivals and us narrowing a 10 point gap two weeks ago to just 1 pt off of 3rd. If that happens I think they will crumble and could even miss out on a top 4 place .... big if though. As you say, it will probably be a draw now
I'm gonna miss the game as it's my missus' birthday and I'm taking her out for lunch at a swanky restaurant. I'll have one eye on my phone though for updates, but tbh the stress of actually watching the NLD makes me sick to the stomach, so I'm not too bothered about not actually seeing it.
Spuds to win. Arsenal are marginally the more embarrassing outfit. Will probably just drink through the whole event whilst throwing darts at photos of Jews.
When I watch the NLD, I'm a sweaty, sweary bag of nerves, cursing and thumping the table, pacing up and down and calling the ref a ****. I upset the dog who goes and hides, my little un tells me to stop shouting and it pisses my missus off that I swear in front of the nipper. So it's probably for the best we're going out for a meal
**** derby, full of fannies. Who really cares, outside of Spuds and Arse? Gotta be the ****test derby going.
Yep mate, and it was **** then also. 2 teams scrapping for 4th place, who cares outside their little crowd?
Like most the London 'derbies' it's ****ing **** with all the passion of a flower pressing competition.
