apparently this is just a hoax and is not actually happening! https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-47393510
Andre Previn has died. A famous conductor and musician remembered by most people as Morecombe and Wise's Mr Preview. Just watched it again....still funny.
This might be in Vegas. My son was there last year and said they went on some crazy rides at the top of a skyscraper. No way would you get me up there!
Same with me SM, it's a bit of a case that unless there is a distinct possibility that something would break and everybody plunges to the ground, then there's not really a lot of point. It's still safe, it's just really high and it actually needs to be dangerous for me to get a buzz. Parachuting is quite cool because it is an inherently dangerous activity, and you could die if you don't do it right. Sitting a roller coaster car is mostly a safe activity that gives an illusion of danger.
I do have a few mental short circuits and thrive on risk taking - I don't expect normal people to think like I do...because that would be stupid and the world would crash and burn. I've survived 52 years, but not without a few hefty slices of luck at times. There's still nothing better though, than that moment when you get a massive adrenaline rush, your heart races and you're not sure how something is going to turn out
So then. Am I a bad grandad/dad? 30 days...30 days, my daughter & grandchildren were over with us from the US. I just took them back to Heathrow this morning. Sitting here in tranquility, glass of wine and looking forward to doing nothing tomorrow. We had so many lovely priceless moments together and I think I'll miss them all eventually, but two dogs & Mrs no7 is just perfect right now
I would say you are normal. When Mrs Badger and I lived in Spain, we loved having our sons and their partners over to stay, but when you are used to being by yourselves, doing what you want when you want, the disruption to your routines can be very wearing.
