read a few bits on twitter about his proposal being that the fans buy it, which sorta confirms he wants to offload the loss making. now, knowing it's getting to him making a loss, i'd have thought the best step to take from the fans would be to mass boycott so he loses even more. sooner or later it'll better financially for him to give the club (and properties) away for next to nothing.
People who know nothing about our club will be tempted to believe Roland's narrative about the protests preventing the sale, especially with Jim White acting as Roland's mouthpiece. And the great lie will feed on itself. Richard Murray's continued support is important as well. I'd enjoy a good protest, no question, but I no longer believe it will achieve anything. I remember going on the Stop the War march, over a million people, and thinking surely Blair will listen, but in his own deluded mind he knew better than everybody else (he still does), and Roland likewise. Regardless of any “detrimental effect on the team “ (what a load of bollox), the protests need to start again. Even a simple graffiti protest this week rattled the old bastard. Life is far too comfortable running our club into the dirt. He needs to be lawfully put under pressure from now on.

If the Valley and the training ground are separated from the Club then it's the beginning of the end. All Charlton fans should declare war (in principle) against him. 100% opposition on every front, to the limit that the law allows. Charlton Athletic will end up like Coventry City. And if RD destroys CAFC, then as I mentioned earlier, fans will just begin again - next time totally free of him.
