Yes and this was his first game back after injury. Didnt need a run out to get back to his best, straight at it.
I was thinking the same whilst watching the game, he was running the show, we should have put a bid in for him rather than James in the transfer window
Swansea must have agreed on a fee of a few cobwebs until boardroom politics got in the way then no wonder they're in a mess
No disrespect intended but I’d be a bit disappointed if he went to a newly promoted club (or worse one that has missed out on promotion). He lives in East London and I reckon he’s better than Snodgrass, for example, who’s getting a regular game at West Ham.
Dont worry. Thats a regular thing with us Leeds fans and I suspect other clubs too. We see an opposition player andf assume we should go for him without thinking what hed cost, could we afford him, would he be willing to uproot and move up north etc etc. Its called fantasy football. One thing is for sure though, if hes better than Snoddy, he wont be with you next season unless he doesnt have an agent
He moved to us in the first place to be nearer family and we accepted a bid from Boro in the summer so think it would have to be quite a big move for him to go north. No doubt you could afford him though. We’re skint.
Whenever I've seen Freeman he's looked superb and would slot into our team seamlessly. Exactly the type of player we need. Not saying we could afford him though, none of us lot on here know the answer to that.
