You weren't trusted with that squaddie boy. That's why they made you Cheif tattie peeler (no offence to the Irish who I believe have a chequerd past when it comes to spuds).
Have you? You'll forgive me if I don't bother checking that link, i'm a suspicious sort by nature and I suspect it's some half arsed non funny attempted joke. Am I right...........again?
pfft sas/seals all that training, all that equipment and yet you got guys with AK's and a turban scaring the shoite out of them
Who knows? Who cares? The same 3 or 4 people trying to make every thread on here about boring oirish shoite...
what always makes me laugh about this type of debate is that people think the individual soldier is braver/better per se. Let me explain. I have friends in the military. One to one i would probably kick 7 shades of **** out of most of them, but when they are armed etc I would be a dead man I personally think soldiers like the americans are pussies. The only advantage they have is the up to date weaponry. weaponary that doesnt require them to get their hands dirty' if you will. A guy with an uzi would always win against a guy with a pellet gun, take those away and put them in a ring and i would wager the guy who bought the pellet gun to the fight is the braver/better man
We are not talking about the Military "in general though", we were talking about "Special Forces" who receive specialist hand to hand combat training. I doubt you would come out on top 1 v 1 against ANY SAS man though, ask the Peterhead Prison rioters.
So because one soldier said he was scared there that means the whole of the SAS wouldn't dare enter? If you read certain sources, the SAS spent a fair amount of time in South Armagh.
I'm sure when the SAS men explained how scared they were that the Government stopped sending them. That's the way things worked when I was in the Army. If we were too scared we were allowed to Veto any deployment.
Its a joke you prune. I made one remark and stopmeandslapme got all uppity so i decided the time was right to up the ante
