I won't look at the handicaps until the weights are out but you can understand him being full of bullish about Clan Des Obeaux and Quel Destin. Both look to hold outstanding chances in my humble opinion.
Absolutely - small piece with him in the jolly old Telegraph this morning and he cannot wait for it to start. He was extremely bullish about his yard.
Not forgetting Topofthegame too.. the first week back after the equine flu saga he was in red hot form..8 winners and probably ahead of everyone else form wise. Not so dominant last weekend and as the weeks pass I m sure we 'll see it level out as any horses who had to have boosters get back to peak powers. I don't see Nicholls dominating at the festival but wouldn't put anyone off backing his horses as the yard are in great form.
2 to note imo from the handicap weights 1) Give Me A Copper carrying 10st 9lb - Nicholls must chuffed with that 2) Uradel needs abit of luck to get in to the coral cup and absolute scenes if he doesn’t!!
They've taken the piss with Jezki too - 155 FFS. I was fancying him to run well in the County Hurdle till I saw that. Ridiculous. The last time he ran at Cheltenham was 2 years ago in the Stayers Hurdle and finished 8th when rated 160.
