It's a load of bollocks. Cleverbot is an online piece of nonsense http://cleverbot.com/ where you type a question and it replies with a sentence constructed from a database. It employs some clever heuristics to store new sentences in the database based on the questions asked and the "answer" given, so it continually stores more and more information. Clever, yes, but hardly AI and certainly not robots. All they did was have in instance of the database ask questions of the other. The God and Unicorn stuff was information stored about the crap people had been asking it. Particulalry the unicorn reference which is nothing more than a childish meme that was bouncing about on the Internet. Totally pointless.
