Argentinian Matías Abelairas on trial at Rangers

    Just heard that the former River plate midfielder Matías Abelairas has got a trial with Rangers. Which is absolutley madness when considering we have the Algerian Messi in Salim Kerkar already on the bench!

    I take it this guy must have dual nationality with an EU country because he certainly wouldn't qualify for a work permit.

    Was it not Gaddafis boy that was the 'footballer'? <laugh>

    They might be pish (in Wanyamas case he's still unproven either way) but I think you're missing out one crucial fact when it comes to obtaining work permits Frank, those guys are all internationalists.

    Think he was signed to Juve as Gadaffis company had shares in it and I'm pretty sure he played like 1 game for Perugia.
