    Where?

Tesco in Sighthill is their spiritual home.

About 9-10 years ago Aberdeen City Council tried to buy the Hillhead halls of residence off the University of Aberdeen for the purpose of turning it into Scotland's centre for Asylum Seekers.

Up to 2500 people can live there. There is a pub and a shop with a post office I believe.

The council did all it's feasibility studies and risk assessments and concluded that it "Wasn't fit for human habitation"

10 years later there are still 2500 students living there <doh>

Kind of highlights the sort of bullshit that happens in this country. It's not good enough for folk coming from countries where oppression, rape, war and poverty are endemic but it'll survive another decade+ with the countries most promising young people. <doh> <doh>
