Did get the reference Norm, but I couldn't resist the opportunity. :emoticon-0105-wink:

For what its worth and despite only putting up the avatar because of my profession, Ron and Russell were part of my growing up experience - unfortunatley, I haven't grown up yet.

Hey Doc - don't want to be pedantic mate, but not sure that's right about the Vetch. Huw Jenkins didn't sell the land for a load of dosh to developers - Swansea City Council own the Vetch and built the Liberty Stadium to replace it (which they still own) for the Ospreys and Swans to share as tenants.

That is still the case despite the Yanks making noises when they took over a couple of years ago about buying The Liberty and developing it - that all changed when they got relegated last season. Far from being a saviour, which in some respects he certainly was, Jenkins is now villified by the fans down there for selling them down the river and trousering a load of dosh in the process.

They'll probably survive whilst they continue to receive their parachute payments, but they've gone bust twice already and a 3rd time is by no means out of the question. You could also say the same about us a few years back (although it would only be the first time - we haven't been there yet), but a certain Mr. Tan stepped in and it didn't happen and wont whilst he's still around. <ok>

Neither - I don't smoke and resemble George Clooney.

I used to think I looked like Cary Grant but then he died so changed my mind.

You mean he really is dead? <yikes>

It could have been Ray Milland I was thinking about, but I suppose he's gone now too.

BTW, did you know Ray Milland was from Neath and took his name from a local area? (that's the Milland bit, not Ray <laugh>)

Probably his most famous roles, were as the bad guy in the Hitchock film starring opposite Grace Kelly "Dial M For Murder", starring in the really really bad early 1970's horror movie "Frogs", two guest murderer roles in Columbo episodes and also a guest role in the original Battlestar Galatica.

He was the typical 1940's/50's Brit that Hollywood thought everyone was like over here :)

Anyway guys, I need to gather myself for my 20 mile trip to the shrine tonight, and I can only wish you all the best in your game at QPR.

Ourselves to win for obvious reasons and hopefully stay up here to greet you next season, but can you do it?

Which do you think the more likely - us to stay up or you to get up here? Tonight could have a huge influence on the destiny for both of us. <ok>

Look, I'm a bit down today so don't wind me up.

As far as being a pedant is concerned, Doc knows you shouldn't let the facts get in the way of a good story.....<laugh>
