Yeah, i hope he does. If he does get a chance and doesnt impress it could well be his last chance to show he deserves to stay at the club.
I like your theory. On the basis that we can't defend then completely focus on attack. That way, we will be so attacking and always in their half so we won't have much defending to do.
Valery Bednarek Yoshida Bertrand PEH Romeu JWP Armstrong Redmond Austin I can't commit myself yet to picking Vestegaard in a back four. Weirdly, I wouldn't call it a disaster if Ely starts this one. The only two games where he's looked even remotely like an alright player were both games in which he started (Leicester at home, and I can't remember the other).
We look so much better with a back 4 going forward, but also become more susceptible at the back: Gunn, Valery, Bednarek, Yoshida, Betrand, Romeu, Hojbjerg, Ward-Prowse, Armstrong, Redmond, Austin. 4-2-2-2/4-2-3-1
That`s the team I`d pick. Any word on when Ings will be back ? Can`t rely on Austin staying fit for a number of games.
Nah. We’re walking the high wire since January. I’ll Just be deeply disappointed and resign myself to relegation.
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2019...-prepare-for-fulham-clash-premier-league-1819 Long in training shots....so if injured, not too badly.
One thing I would say - to anyone going on Wednesday night. Please, please back the team. I hate hearing groans etc. when players misplace a pass. It definitely doesn’t help. This is such a big game, need the fans to be supportive for a change
Yes. I'm in ... Ok so Brighton to get absoluetly thrashed by Leictester and Everton to wrip through Cardiff and thrash them also. saints to whip Fulham 24 hours later going above Brighton on goal difference and easing past Cardiff in the process
Another midweek home game. Getting frustrated by the number of home games I'm missing so far this year.
You are very right. This is important enough to try and influence it - probably not in time for tomorrow. How do we do so? I'm serious.
Regret can’t make this one, but totally agree with you. I’m sorry to say but I’m not sure why some people bother going, with their jeers and constant booing at times with all recent managers I’m surprised we’re still in the PL. Thanks to those real supporters we are but it’s very disheartening at times.
