I have been a guest here and at that other site over at the BBC til May for months but this is my first ever post I was born some 3750 miles wet and south of Loftus Rd in the city that sits on the Canadian side of the border at Detroit. It has the unlikely name of Windsor but now 58 years later i split my time between Toronto and another Canadian town with the even more unlikely name of ... London I am a Hoop by choice, of course - had a girlfriend (now long since returned to England) from Ealing though we met here. Her family were either not interested in football or supported Fulham, I chose QPR just to be different. I have supported the Rs through thick and thin (and seems there's been a lot of thin) for 31 years - reckon that makes me a bit of a newby but still not bad for a native born Canuck. Only rarely get to games but first was the unlikely 3-0 hiding given to WHUFC on Boxing Day 1980 (only 2 quid to get in) and the last the 1-1 draw against Posh a couple of years ago Okay - that's enough of my life story for now

I do post on other boards as well, although I am a Chelsea fan I do have a fond interest in football in general. I enjoy the level of debate on the QPR and Sunderland boards in particular, Arsenal aren't that bad either.

I was born in Queen Charlottes on Goldhawk Road and lived above the Greek restaurant in Goldhawk Road with my mum and dad so I am QPR born and bred!!!
By birth for me. I cant imagine many have adopted QPR especially in the last 15 years. However I took a Uni mate to a game in League 1 around 6 years ago. He was an Oldham fan before and has now had a season ticket at QPR for the last 5 years. He is Rangers through and through like the rest of us. He's the only one I've managed to turn in my 25 years odd of going!
My family supports a few teams including Fulham, Chelsea, Watford and West Ham but my Dad took me to my first match which was QPR v Aylesbury in the FA Cup in 1995 when I was 5. After that I had a misspent childhood as I was fascinated by Zola, Wise and Beckham. It didn't help that the chelscum team visited me in hospital when I was having an eye operation when I was 7. (Obviously I didn't see what I was getting into at the time!) Got into one of the QPR in the community study support schemes when I was 11 and that was the beginning of me turning back to the R's. Also got some free match tickets which helped as well. Wasn't able to get to many matches over the years due a variety of reasons but found enough cash to get to a few games recently.

Born in Greenford and went to Reynolds High School in Acton with Warren Neill. Worked as a steward at LR for a few seasons when crowds were so poor that we were paid to chuck people in!!!!!!!
Living proof that all those free/discounted tickets just occasionally work! Great to see a teenager from the local area coming to LR rather than glory hunting the scum on TV as so many do. Made my day mate. Cheers!
I do find it strange that given the size of the population in West London so few in terms of proportion actually support the West London teams. You guys seem to draw most of your support from the West London area understandably, in fact a few of my cousins support QPR and went quite often (Not sure if they still do), but the vast majority of my family based in London support Arsenal and United, I just don't get it. I found it refreshing when I drove past Shepherds Bush the other day to find a Dad walking his kids down the road with the little boy wearing a Chelsea shirt and the little girl wearing a Fulham shirt.
