It seems to me that some form of rehabilitation could be necessary for all prisoners. Does anybody think, or know of anybody who came out of prison a better person?
Yeah one of my oldest pals did a few years for a well publicised (here) incident when he was about 18/19... spent the last 6 months on Monday-Friday day release working for southern water and still works for them while running his own online business, bought a property etc.
Ok, but firstly he only served 74 days. Secondly, I’m guessing that football saved him from going on to becoming a serial offender. Very few prisoners are that fortunate.
The only offenders off the top of my head who I think can't be rehabilitated are nonces, they'll always think that way and if they have already offended I can't see them ever being 'safe' to be in the public without the risk of reoffending.
Probably but you asked the question so I answered it. The re offending rate would be higher for that age group than average though too,
Would anybody oppose the death penalty as a viable alternative to being evicted from the Big Brother House?
Depending on who you believe, Jade Goody got the death penalty for calling Shilpa Shetti “Shilpa Poppadom, Shilpa ****awala”.
