....must be the Spanish word for prick. Any half decent club would now transfer list the little Spanish sh1t...but this is Chelsea so ...
So if I understand correctly (I didn't watch the game) Kepa just refused to be substituted before the penalty shoot-out. Sarri wanted him to come off the pitch and he just said no. And nothing further was done. Where was the Chelsea Captain when this was going on? Why didn't he go up to Kepa and tell him to get off the pitch - and chin him if he refused again. This is immaturity beyond belief. Any player refusing to be substituted during a match should be sent off by the referee and dragged off the pitch by stewards if he still won't go. Then he should banned for 12 matches and his Club should sack him without any pay-off.
He was thinking of his pay off when he emerged to say that. The Chelsea PR spin machine went straight to work after yesterday’s game. Foreign player power is one of the many unattractive aspects of modern football.
I do not think he did anything wrong?... the Manager's suggested substitution was a request rather than an order
All of this in the same week when English football celebrated the life and career of a goalkeeper who had true class - on and off the pitch - Gordon Banks Chelsea’s hurried official response spoke volumes for the type of club they have become - their Putin oligarch can’t even get into the UK- and the way foreign show pony players are running that club. I mean, who the f*ck is Kepa ?
Chelsea FC is now a laughing stock. Why should their players even bother turning up for training if they don't feel like it? And in non-league games and youth games up and down the country, silly kids and stupid adults will copy Kepa's disgraceful behaviour. Behaving worse than a spoilt 8 year old brat is now seen as OK for pampered Premier League players. Gordon Banks and those great players and honest gentlemen of his generation are well out of the freak show that modern top flight football has become.
The Putin oligarch has set the precedent by firing any manager who loses a few games. The players know it and know they never get the blame for anything. And sacked managers get a huge pay-off for failure, which is why he'll never have a problem finding a replacement.
Surely the Premier League should have a rule about club ownership, when the owner is not deemed a person fit to have a UK visa ?
How would Lee Bowyer have reacted as a manager to the Kepa incident (@lardiman look away now) I suspect with extreme violence
His status has changed since he bought Chelsea. I don't know how many PL clubs are British owned, but the number must be small.
Tottenham, Wet Spam, Newcastle, Burnley, Brighton & Huddersfield … I think Palarse are 51% owned by the Yanks who were going to buy us.
