Not neutral obviously but I've no complaints thought he was fair. Luke Shaw MOTM for you Fabinho for us the 2 main players who could have made a difference Herrera and Firmino off injured made the game a bit stale.
He was probably just confused as he's used to favouring either Liverpool or Man Utd so wasn't sure what to do when they played each other.
Matth’s 27 tweets on the subject may suggest I’ve missed something but I think I’m quite objective and don’t recall much.
Utd defended well and our forwards didn't play well 0-0 a fair result. You can pick it apart but it comes down to that.
True. I'm pretty sure he favoured the better club, with the better players, the better manger, who are more likely to win silverware in the near future. Which is that though?
I just skimmed through the match thread on the Liverpool board and from the start of the game @astro was crying about how the ref was favouring United and he ended up crying about how Liverpool had to play against an injury hit United plus the referee. Astro is always right.
What you on about a Stanley? There were no major decisions the ref got wrong. Both defences played well meaning the game was a bit dull.
Agreed. Though lets not get ahead of ourselves, it was only City. We beat City a few weeks back and we're ****e.
