Surely football players are subject to employment law the same as us mere mortals. Got to be dismissed surely! The club has to back it's manager and install some respect in the players.
Yeah, under normal circumstances; but we’re talking about the Chavs. They’ll probably bin Sarri instead!
I'd need to see it over again to see exactly what happened and how communication broke down. But i think club managers also need to stick together and say disrespect one you disrespect us all. Give players no where to go when they behave like that.
i've paid attention and today was evidence of how bad things have become. Something has to change, it's disrespectful, the very game that expects supporters to display a certain set of values, but fail to demonstrate those values on the pitch.
They are, but unfortunately the fact that they also sit on the balance sheet as an intangible asset somewhat skews the pitch lol.
Bluey is right, Sarri should have been stronger, more forceful. But it seems clear he’s not in control there or that wouldn’t have happened. You can just see a player trying to do something like that to Fergie.
my point was around the employment laws since in effect they don't apply to football i.e. you cannot be dismissed for incompetence in football . The game expects supporters to display a certain set of values which include offensive chanting , very offensive chanting and a willingness to pay whatever is demanded. Here endeth the lecture .
Ok. I’ll phrase it differently. There seems to be a lack of respect there. Even so it doesn’t excuse Kepa’s actions.
Take your points, but he needs at the very least to be suspended by the club. There has to be values upheld and respecting the managers call is one of them.
