I'm sure I read somewhere that Bas is looking for one 'quality' winger to bring in on loan - so not sure if that means they have someone already lined up! be good if it's a winger who can play on both flanks, so can swap around a bit if one of the others is a bit off form!
I would hope that Marv sticks around for at least another year, and when he does go we get another DG like price. I say again... WHY GET ANOTHER WINGER?? WE COULD HAVE ONE ON THE BENCH!!!

Plus the fact he seems happy enough here ! He knows if he stays he will get lots of games ,if he goes elsewhere he would have to fight for his place in wherevers pecking order
i think he'd have a move to another championship club first...and then a prem club...unless he stayed. But if we got offered big money, i can't see how we would turn it down...
But we have been told we dont need to sell anymore this season , so worst case scenario is he goes at the end of the season! Which is what most of us would think anyway!
We dont need to, but we can not decline £4mill. That would be stupid!! Or we wait and see what happens till the end of the season. He might be a full England international by then! Worth £6-7mill!!!
I guess it will depend on which league position the 2 teams are in come January. IF we are closer to Southampton I doubt Marv would want to go..but if we are in trouble then could see us consider any potential bid. He will be worth more in the future though...
If they can demand £12m+ for Chamberlain, then we need to be strong enough to say no to all bids, and say his price is £10m! Not going to happen though, is it....
We can hope though, still think he should stay with us till end of the season. Unless we are holding up the table, then he needs to move and we will need the money!
He seems to have a good head on him and know this is the place to develop. Maybe if Saints are walking the league he might request to go... but otherwise I can see hm staying until a decent Prem team comes in for him!
If you bare in mind AO-C has played 36 and scored 9 for the saints which is 0.25 goals per game, and Marv has played 53 for us and scored 14 at 0.27. AOC has played 3 U21 games and scored none, Marv had played 2 and scored 1. Age wise there is nothing in it. Only a year and a bit. You could then say that Marv is worth £15,000,000+ easily!!
