] It was obviously a set piece that was practised. Was he tracking O9 run? Almost definitely not, but I reckon he knows players are going to be running into that area. Does that mean it Was a deliberate pass? Maybe not (seemed like it was even I saw it live, but after highlights I'm not sure either way), but it does mean we had players in there just in case and it worked.
No chance. He wanted the goal and, imo, looked disappointed it was taken off him. There was no big celebration from him, just a little clap of the hands
The goal wasn't taken off him as it would have been cleared if Onien didn't finish it. Why does he have to celebrate 'big' if he has laid on a goal. His last assist was also putting the ball back across goal from a cross, which Honeyman ran into to put in the back of the net (against Accrington). He didn't celebrate big then either...nor clap his hands.
Just saying what I saw. I watch kids play on a Saturday morning and it’s disappointing to see a player not celebrating. The Accrington one is different as it was 2-1 and getting back into the game was more important. I saw a player who took a shot and didn’t score and looked disappointed. Just an opinion
