Look fella just face fact, you've had the FA in your pocket for decades, that's what the Russian billions do, hush money. But you forgot to pay off FIFA, hence they've looked in to your club child grooming, because that is basically what it mounts too. You even admitted to putting out a bunch of under 12's, giving a whole new meaning to CFC the pride and joy of South London.

Harsh to tar the whole club with that. I think a lot of fans myself included have really liked much of what Puel has done and wanted it to work out. Naturally the negative people shout louder (as in any walk of life). I for one hate changing manager as it just stops any stability building even though most clubs are as bad. I really feel that the owner hasn’t wanted to do this as they’ve held on under pressure (from certain supporters and the media) for a while but have obviously felt the atmosphere has just gone too bad. Not sure if anything would have played out differently if Vichai was still calling the shots.
On the other hand, I don’t think a lot of clubs in the top flight would have handled things any differently or if anything given managers less time. I still think a major problem is some of our players left from the title year that seem to be responsible time after time. A lot of the contract extensions that Ranieri handed out like sweets end this summer so hopefully we have a clear out and have a squad who will play for the manager again...
    Sad for the club this

A lot of clubs have under 12 sides you absolute melt. <laugh> Child grooming? <laugh> FIFA are easily bought so we could have if we wanted to. We obviously didn't feel the need to, hence the appeal. How old are you ffs. <laugh> Oh and it's South West London.

    Good post <ok>

I just hope for your sake that the loyal Leicester supporters such as yourself aren't going round with petitions in a few years time, much the same as the Blackpool supporters did long after the Wonga shirt wearing fans had gone.

I've no doubt you could have bought out FIFA, I'm pleased once again you are admitting the disgraceful capabilities of your club. But the thing is after years of child grooming, you forgot to pay off the governing body, now they have come after you and found you guilty. I'm sure you will drag this through the courts and the puppets you dangle on a string the FA will be there to support you. Chelsea Football Club have no morals or how low they will stoop to be better than Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham, Millwall, because without your corrupt Russain billions you would be NOTHING. Still stuck in the dark ages of the 70's where the greyhound track brought in more money in the dark winter days. 'South West London' <laugh> upmarket kiddy fiddling then, instead of sweeties what do you promise them Aston Martin's <whistle>

<laugh> Kiddy fiddling? Thought you were better than that. Our money brings the bitterness spewing out of you, like a true Spud. Run along and hide behind them now. Ryan says hi.

Even little ole West Ham get 20k more home fans than your lot. Even League One Sunderland are equal attendance to your shower of shhite.

You'll probably find that their stadiums are bigger. <doh> You say were in Spurs shadow when they haven't won a trophy in 10 years.<doh> You say our antics are disgraceful when I said we could have paid FIFA off, which we didn't. Any Prem club could. <doh> Bearing in mind that clubs sign players at the age of 8 must mean that all clubs are child groomers. <doh> You really are a mong. Ryan says hi.

Chelsea are nothing more than a money laundering exercise.

Pay over the odds for players...collect the young footballing talent then destroy their careers.

They are bad for the game...should have let them fold when no one was willing to pay £1 for them

    CENTRES
Full information on the club's Development Centres around Kent

Gillingham Football Club currently have six Development Centres up and running throughout the County. These are based in Canterbury, Chatham, Folkestone, Dartford, Maidstone and Sittingbourne, giving the opportunity for young players in all four corners of Kent to become part of the only professional league club in the county.

Although the main aim is to recruit players for our academy, players can, and are encouraged, to remain registered with their local teams. We fully understand the importance of grassroots football and are keen to help develop players for the future whether they stay on with their local club or progress into our academy.

Regular Open Evenings are held throughout the year to recruit players into the centres and any talented players spotted at our Community run Soccer Schools and football activities are also invited to attend.

Lead Foundation Phase Rob Peck heads up the boys Development Centres, which focus on young players at U6 to u12s. Players work on a simplified syllabus that mirrors the main academy. We aim to give individual players plenty of time 'on the ball' during each session, encouraging ball manipulation and confidence in possession.

In addition to our main centres Gillingham Football Club also run elite centres for all age groups over three different venues throughout the county. These centres act as a stepping stone between the six main Centres and the academy.

Having these centres also enables us to keep an eye on players who in the first instance don't quite make it in to our academy. During the season centres have the opportunity to play games against one another to ensure a consistent standard of player is recruited, it also enables each player to develop at a faster rate than that might otherwise be the case. Games are also organised on a termly basis against local grassroots sides.
