This really is one of your worst attempted wums ever.
So what crimes has she been proven to have committed in a court of law?
This really is one of your worst attempted wums ever.
That's incorrect Tel. She has never applied for citizenship, and she has never even visited Bangladesh. The right to apply for a dual national of Bangladesh lapses at the age of 21, and considering she is now 19, she had no intention of doing so. Javid based his stance on Bangladeshi law of bloodline, but he overlooked that for it to be bloodline, the birth still had to be registered with the Bangladesh High Commission, it was not. You have your opinion and i have mine, I believe Javid will lose this case.
Where do we draw the line, this will open up a massive Pandora's box by going this route. Already we have Jack Lett's as an example of a dual national.
Shall we wait and see what the courts decide, before pretending to be Rumpole of the Bailey?
It’s not incorrect mate, not even a bit. It’s completely cut and dry.
Whether it stands up long term will be determined as and when, but it’s not illegal, no way no how.
You're boring me Tel....in fact you are becoming more boring that @FosseFilberto
Now you know how the rest of us feel then.

Last seen mumbling at the airport heading to Syria.Fook sake, I've only just seen the Leicester result, no wonder Fosse has fooked off![]()

Do whatever you want pal, I couldn’t care less.

Cool. So I’ll disregard your legal opinions, and you’ll carry on chatting ****![]()

Wow. Does this mean I’m Spanish if I do a week in Ibiza this summer?

if you organise a 'make Gibraltar Spanish' march then yes you too can get ****ed![]()
Or fist yourself into a soft lump, like I said, not bothered![]()

You’d love Gibraltar. It’s 1980s Blackpool with better weather.

... at anything ...
So what is the easiest way for her to get back here? As long as she's in Syria then she's not our problem, right? Am I right in saying that, unless she crosses a border then we don't have to lift a finger to help her? Until Turkey, or whoever, say that they have her in their custody, why worry? Or am I being naive? Are their any countries around the Syrian border who would allow her to cross into their territory? It must be touch and go whether she would make it out of the middle East alive, surely?

So we can just forget about her until she somehow pops up somewhere else? Champion! In short - she would need to get to a British consulate somewhere ... although if Javid got his way we could probably ignore her if her British citizenship is legally revoked ... but not her kid ... as soon as he can ask to come home and sign the necessary paperwork![]()
You know it’s not illegal to do what he’s done right? I’m not sure if you’re making assumptions or you’ve misunderstood the information.
All you need to revoke the person’s nationality is reasonable grounds to believe they could acquire citizenship in another nation. They don’t have to have dual passports.
Javid hasn’t done anything illegal.
