Off Topic The Burly Arms

Sat at the airport, flight delayed. Little un’ bored, tired and moaning .....

 

Just arrived at Gatwick. I always book the Bloc hotel in the terminal as I have a connecting flight to Cornwall. Anyway muggins here ballsed up the booking and did it for 23rd jan instead of 23rd Feb.

Anyway the nice young lady on the desk must have taken a shine to me because she bumped me up to a VIP room for the same price as my standard room, even though I’d ****ed up the booking.

Currently sat on the bed in the runway suite sipping some complementary Prosecco. Think that lovely young lady will be getting a bunch of flowers from me in the morning.

 

Maybe you reminded her of her dad.

Beautiful day here yesterday. Spent most of it at the beach jet skiing...great fun if you’ve never tried it..finished the day off with a few beers and a curry.

Had a great time, almost made up for both Spurs and England losing.

Laying in bed having a cuppa ... contemplating a nice bath ... all change tomorrow ... starting a new 6 monther in leafy Surrey having done Essex for the last 6 ... traffic will be even worse but they are very flexible on working hours so all good.

 

Losing to the gravel gargling ginger tagnut that is Shaun Dyche says otherwise mate.

 

Anyway haven’t seen the pooch meltdown yet. What happened ?
