And yet we won at Norwich and Sheff Utd didn’t, we won at Rotherham and Sheff Utd didn’t. And we win at Sheff Utd and err sheff Utd err didn’t. What a wacky crazy game football is.
Another hard match to call. I've been banging on about the matches we have left and IMO and sorry to sound so negative, I'm dreading the run in. Every match is going to be tough. I just can't see us beating WBA, SHEFF U, BRISTOL C, BRENTFORD, Preston etc etc etc
I worry about our strike force, both of those two sides tonight have 4 top-end Championship quality strikers to call on, we have two - one injured, one unconvincing. Both Brown and Roberts have been skying every chance they get in the U23s, and Alioski is as bad for the first team. We need Lady Luck to smile on us, and some fecker to make a name for himself in a hurry. Aaaaaggggggghhhhhhhh. That's better. Having got that out, win on Tuesday and we go top, and I'd take a draw at home on Friday night.
Beat the Hoops by 7 goals and the goals difference issue is fixed and then a 1-0 win against the baggies and we will be sorted
Haven’t seen the report from the boro game but qpr haven’t been playing badly. They just have the losing habit. Lost to West Brom last week to an injury time winner when finishing the game with 10 men. They’re leaking goals but otherwise are a decent footballing side. sods law their luck breaks against us.
Sheffield Utd are the threat... they’ve been consistently good all season. West Brom carry a goal threat but aren’t all that. However they do match up well against us as it’s sides that are good on the break that are our Achilles heel. Though as today showed again, king ‘heads a brick’ Pontus, doesn’t look so good against physical centre forward lines either.
