Ah well, a scruffy win for us and a demolition of France by England.
It's going to be a tough day when they come to town in two weeks.
    Two weeks without international rugby.:emoticon-0108-speec

    Two weeks without the bluebirds.
Mixed feelings about that. Gives us chance to rest up, but we have been on a roll the last 3 games.:emoticon-0138-think

We have been in this position a few times over the years where we have scraped wins and England have looked unbeatable and the last game between us at the Millenium has been a humdinger with Wales coming out on top and breaking the English hearts......Never write off Wales however good England look.

Yet another concussion setback for Halfpenny - would have felt a lot better about the England game if he had been fit.

Wouldn't be surprised if he takes the Warburton route and retires early.

Was that a training injury sheepy?

I agree. He needs to retire if it's happened again. Warburton retired because his body couldn't take it.
Losing your faculties is a whole differentball game......

I have no doubt in my mind that you were watching the Wal v Eng match and that the dog(s) was briskly walked at half time :emoticon-0158-time:

Glad you added that bit about it being a pub Bluey - I haven't had a jolly sailor for years. <yikes>

Turk - I haven't watched a rugby game live for probably 40 years, and on the box since the last RWC a few years back. Can't appreciate the sport ever since the finesse in the game became overwhelmed by power.

Not to say that supporters like remote shouldn't enjoy the game and the best of luck to them, but it's not for me.

In fact I'd rather walk the dogs during the first and second halves and pop back home for a cuppa (or maybe the Jolly Sailor for something else) half time. <ok>

    Another big weekend of football...

    .....AND rugby.

Wales favourites but it's been a banana skin in the past.

Just after half time with the ladies.
10 all in terrible conditions, but an entertaining game.

Such a big day of sport tomorrow that I'm bringing Mrs Cat up to the capital to celebrate her 47th birthday. Can't drag her to the football so we are hoping to find a good pub to watch the rugger in. looks like it's going to be the Owain Glyndwr unless one of you can recommend a decent pub with a great atmosphere and bloody good beer <cheers>

3 weeks of no Cardiff game, but the biggest game of Wales season so far.
Blood and thunder for 80 minutes. Two brutal packs with the backs having to wait for decent ball as the Irish ask for the roof to be left open.
Never mind the weather, 3 games back to back with a few beers.
    Bliss.

Agree with Gatland. Why does the away team get the final say on whether the roof is open or closed? It’s our stadium - shouldn’t we get the choice? Thought that was the entire point of home advantage?

Anyhoot, should be a nailbitter tomorrow. Ireland aren’t going to roll over and began to look in form against the French. Hopefully, momentum will carry us over the line!
