It is exactly the same as every other rule. The line counts as part of the area enclosed and the ball is deemed to be within it if any part of it overhangs the line.

Really? I've never seen it applied to goalkicks, for example. People don't pay a lot of attention to them though, to be fair.

Now that the dust has settled, as has my blood pressure, not to mention having watched back the highlights again on MOTD this morning, I've come to conclusion that ultimately Poch has to take the flack for yesterday's loss.

Foyth's selection was a massive mistake. He simply isn't suited to combative style games against the likes of Burnley. He had a great game against Dortmund who are a passing team. In those games, he isn't pressured anywhere near as much. But ultimately Foyth was a bag of nerves and it was no coincidence Burnley focussed their attacks on that flank.

We can argue all day whether Kane should or shouldn't have started. He got his goal but I think rushing him back into the starting 11 made us look like a different team to the one that grafted and fought in games like this over recent weeks.

Finally, I'd also like to add that Eriksen was woeful again and not showing full commitment. He's been strolling through games, playing at 70% for too long lately.

In the build up to Burnley's second and ultimately winning goal, Eriksen's feeble attempt to tamely stick out a leg was just pathetic. It's that type of half-arsed commitment that he's shown lately that is starting to really piss me off. In fact, he's making my blood boil.

It's only because of his incredible passing ability to find players and his "running" percentages that keep him in the team, week in, week out. There's simply no one else better in his position, but that's led to him being complacent, lazy and passive because he knows he's a shoe in.

In big games he's gone missing all too often and I fear his mind is already elsewhere. He's strolling through certain games this season, ensuring he stays injury free and ready for a move away in the summer.

So before we all lay into Foyth who's a young player, trying to learn the game and giving his best even if it isn't always quite enough at the moment, keep an eye on Eriksen and ask yourself if he's really giving 100% every week. I think we'll all come to a similar conclusion on the Dane.

So what did Mike Dean say that sent Jesus into a rage and made Poch challenge his to 'say it again in front of the camera?' Clearly there is so bad blood there, should Dean be allowed to be the 4th official v the chavs on Wednesday? Could be a recipe for disaster.

EDIT: Dean allegedly laughed and said: 'Out of the title race, unlucky' Poch should have nutted him.

Yep, Eriksen has one eye on a potential massive summer move, but he`s never really been fully committed in the tackle in my opinion. His overall stats and effort appear similar to usual though, but he isn`t going to be risking any serious injury by throwing himself into tackles if he`s got his eye on a big transfer this summer.

    From
This from Mike Dean's Wikipedia page:

Dean was originally appointed to referee the 2006 FA Cup final at the Millennium Stadium on 13 May 2006 but the Football Association later replaced him with Alan Wiley after concerns were raised about Dean's ability to be impartial towards Liverpool, who are based near his hometown in Wirral.

Also from Mike "****" Dean's Wikipedia page

Dean stepped down from the FIFA international list at the end of 2013 at the mandatory retirement age of 45.

So the rest of world football doesn't have to put up with him but we do. Nice...

Kane's selection affected Son's game yesterday for a few reasons

No I don't want Kane sold but you can't discount that fact.

Being 60 in two days time I find this post ageist. Which to me is the same as antisemitism, sexist or homophobic, you are the last person that I would expect such a post from HBIC :), Why not state that Mike Dean is a useless, blind mouse supporting kunt like the rest of us do :). The only response possible from you is 'fair play' :) He was clearly a useless kunt long before his 45th birthday, which you fail to acknowledge :).

Clearly, if the FA wanted to correct the problem, all Premiership referees should be drawn from a 1 mile radius of Enfield :). But sadly, this is unlikely to happen because the whole bloody country suffers from an infestation of mice.

If that's true, then he's clearly not impartial.

Go to Graham Roberts on Twatter, he has a similar opinion to you. Nothing is proven, the comment came from one of the Vertongen family, not Jan, but I can guess where they got it from.
