And it definitely isn't Bangladesh. They'd have given me 50p to eat the food there and the pizzas are twice the size.
True, I can buy a decent one here for around 99 baht but that £14 one cost about £1.50 including the box.
They were decent. Would prob tweak the blend a bit and put a bit less paprika in and maybe some celery salt into the mix. Some more black pepper too.
All the resort cities mate, not just pattaya. It isn't cheap there now, in fact many thinks are cheaper here now. It might be cheaper in the bush, but in the partly civilised places is ****ing expensive now. Many half decent places are on terms with here to eat, so even more. Even **** like Macs is ****ing expensive out there.
Aye, i wouldn't make owt like that until i'd used the oil a few times, as it properly ****s it up. I used to use a lot of tempura batter.
You can find beer at 39 baht a glass but it's gut rot but **** to paying 90 for a small beer when I can get it here for 45.
No mate you're doing it again. You drink chang in the jungle. Go to any civilised place and a pint of (lets say guinness) is as expensive, if not more so than here.
easiest batter going, just buy a pack, it's lighter and crispier, probably why a lot of seafood is done with it...But i use it for anything
If your making from ready-made flour then just add an egg yolk and mix well with cold sparkling water to make a batter
I don't do poncey bars who charge 350 baht for Guinness or Budweiser. I don't want to pay more than 65 baht for my Leo qat yai.
